Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that the interest of the Capital Securities (CPBCS), in accordance to the terms of their issue, is payable every three months, on 31^st March, 30^th June, 30^th September and 31^st December every year. The Capital Securities bear an interest rate of 6,50% until 31 March 2009.

The date that beneficiaries will be determined for the payment of the interest for the period to 30^th September 2008 is 19^th September 2008. Therefore, the ex-interest date is 22^nd September 2008.
