PROTECT YOUR CARDS!
Tips and calls

- Sign your card as soon as you receive it.
- Protect your card as if it is cash and keep it in a secure place. Never leave it in your car.
- Memorize your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Never write the PIN on the card and never hold any note relating the PIN to the card.
- Never disclose your PIN to anyone and under any circumstances.
- Ensure that you get your card back after every transaction.
- Keep copies of your sales vouchers and ATM receipts until you check your account statement.
- Check your account statement carefully and every month and verify the amounts and the transactions.
- Never lose sight of your card when paying at a retail outlet (supermarket, clothing stores etc)
- Keep your 16-digit card number and its expiration date in a secure place.
- Report lost or stolen cards immediately. Always have the telephone number of Telebank or JCC at hand.
- If you have not received your renewed card upon expiration of the previous one, inform your Branch or Telebank.
- When you are travelling outside Cyprus, make sure that the Visa or MasterCard logos are present at the retail outlet before making a payment transaction. It is recommended that you have two Marfin Laiki Bank Cards, one with the Visa logo and one with the MasterCard logo.
