Doctors of Cyprus – A Biographical Guide (1737-1960)

An illustrated biographical guide within the framework of an extended research on the history of medicine in Cyprus. It contributes further to the completion of the research by providing information concerning the contribution and work of Cypriot doctors and dentists. The first part of the book focuses on doctors who worked in Cyprus from 1737 to 1960 and their Cypriot counterparts who worked abroad during the same period, while the second part presents biographical notes of dentists. The guide closes with an almost complete list of doctors and dentists who had registered with the corresponding Cyprus Medical Register, until 1960, but for whom no further information could be found.
